The Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade – CBCex, of the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism – CNC, works as a collegiate, consolidating the sector’s data for the construction of a strategic plan of actions.
There are three lines of action:
Among its duties are the analysis of foreign trade policy and international negotiations, guiding CNC’s relationship with government agencies and other entities; the formulation and suggestion of proposals for the entity to act along with the various public and private bodies and entities aiming to improve the legislation and procedures that regulate international trade; support for the integration of the various commercial and service segments covered by the Confederation with the world market; and the suggestion of actions for commercial promotion, investments, services, international agreements and professional training for trade for international activities.
CBCex works on themes such as: the operational structure of foreign trade in the States; the national panorama and international perspectives; CNC’s relationship with government areas, such as the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Apex, Anvisa, Federal Revenue Secretariat, etc .; the export of services; the facilitation of foreign trade with attention to medium, micro and small companies; the tax and isonomic treatment of tax incentives for exports of goods and services; issues related to infrastructure (ports, airports, railways, highways) and border free zones, among other points.
